Onto Maizilind Unto Infinity by the static man
A sprawling, abstract narrative told from the perspective of Iranian families about loss and grief, and how deeply they are felt when experienced on a catastrophic level. Developing a game about such heavy subject matter is no easy feat, but the static man has done so wonderfully, offering a unique experience that we don’t often see in video games while also creating something that feels deeply personal.
