A surreal simulation of a hub world which conforms to your expectations of what you want it to be. Interact with other tulpas who go about their daily lives, play the various minigames/walking sims accessible throughout the hub, or just let the game run and watch the world around you go by.
The way I interpret Sometimes is as a sophisticated critique of what we expect video games to do or be. I highly recommend reading through the game manual (included in the download when you purchase the game), which gives a lot more context and highlights how much depth Jeremy goes into when he created the game.
