Another year, another version of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc 2021. As with previous releases (the 2020 Demo Disc and the Christmas special), the amount of talent and creativity is staggering! I’ve highlighted a few of my favourites from the disc, and covered the rest of the games below.

Relive the final 12 hours of an MMO from the perspectives of various players. NSFW.
Climb and scale structures as an android experiencing a glitch in its system.
Solve the crimes of a mysterious, frog-worshipping cult in this gruesome point-and-click adventure game.
Dig up dead things and solve puzzles in a variety of sandboxes as a mummy brought back to life by an ancient curse.
Restore the rightful king to the throne in this meta but cute retro-platformer.
Risu by Ryan Trawick
Play as Risu, a girl exploring a personal hell that takes form of a school. Reminiscent of games such as Corpse Party, Silent Hill and Spirit Hunter, with that real old-school survival horror feel.
Escape from an endlessly looping corridor in this puzzle/adventure game that puts its own unique twist on the P.T. formula.
